There are only five monuments in the Rogers Family Cemetery, but, all five are ancestors of the Saterfiels of West Monroe.

The Rogers Cemetery is on private property in Ouachita Parish.  Please respect the privacy of the current owners, who are, also, descendants of Elizabeth and John Cloud Rogers.  I gratefully acknowledge their cooperation in allowing our visit to make these photographs and their gift of family history information.

Memorial monument for John Cloud Rogers (b. Apr 11, 1811, d. Mar 6, 1884) and his wife Elizabeth Allen Tharp Rogers (b. Jan 27, 1817, d. Mar 6, 1884).  They were murdered by robbers in their home in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.
